Ground Sun designed and installed 15 screw piles and constructed a reinforced concrete raft with toe beam to support a town centre new build coach house.

The site was adjacent to a building on one side and a neighbouring back garden on another side. The ground conditions were sedimentary sands and gravels on a high water table, therefore open cut deep excavations to form traditional strip foundations were not possible. Screw piles were an ideal solution for this restricted access site.
