This project involved the demolition on an existing house and the erection of a new 6 bedroom dwelling. The main contractor contacted Ground Sun to install 4 screw piles to accommodate a design change in the new build house – 4 additional piles were required to hold a beam to span the rear of the property.
This was a restricted access site and so our handheld machinery was used. The piles were designed with an ultimate capacity of 222kN and were installed to a depth of circa 8 metres.
